Carman-Ainsworth High School

Carman-Ainsworth High School underwent major renovations as part of a $50 Million Bond Issue passed by voters in 2002. All schools in the district received major upgrades such as lighting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and site work. Students occupied the schools while multiple projects were simultaneously constructed.

The renovations included modifying the roof to highlight the main entrance with elegant, curving blue canopies. Adjacently located guidance, counseling and main office spaces were created providing the school with more security and less confusion for students and visitors. The science department completed their master plan by adding a new science wing, equipped with new classrooms, labs and prep areas. The athletic department received a new auxiliary gym, with major renovations to existing locker rooms, new varsity team locker rooms, and a state-of-the-art weight and fitness center, as well as an athletic hall of fame with a new concession area as the centerpiece. To highlight the department, a new athletic event entrance was created, mimicking the design of the school’s main entrance.
