Facility Study &

Bond Implementation

THA Architects Engineers, in collaboration with The Christman Company, was engaged by New Lothrop Area Schools to conduct a comprehensive facility study. The study evaluated the High School/Middle School, Elementary School, and the overall campus site to identify deficiencies and estimate costs for necessary upgrades.

Community Engagement & Planning:
Following the study, THA and Christman worked closely with school administrators, faculty, staff, and the community to prioritize projects. Through a series of community forums, stakeholders determined that both a bond issue and a sinking fund would be pursued to address the district’s needs.

THA led the preparation and submission of all required bond documentation to the Michigan Department of Treasury. Additionally, THA supported the district with visual materials and presentations to effectively communicate the scope and impact of the proposed improvements to the community.
